I just wanted to announce that the Xbox 360 wireless controller for Windows is working perfectly with Windows 8. I have tried many games with it like Far Cry 3, Counter Strike: Source, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, Rayman Origins and Split/Second. I've also played multiplayer with my brother on Split/Second! It works perfectly and feels like Xbox 360 itself. Anybody tried the Xbox 360 controller on Windows 8?

I don't use the xbox 360 controller, I use the http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/gamepad-f310. I can report I also have no problems and it works just as perfect as it does on windows 7. In fact it's better because I use to have a problem of the deadzone of the joystick being really small, this problem doesn't seem to happen on w8.

I don't seem to have any problem with Xbox 360 controller on Windows 8. It's working perfectly. I've also played Blur yesterday, and it's great! I like the Xbox controller's design more than that of the Logitech gamepad. :)

Thank you for reporting this! I have been planning to buy a Microsoft controller for my gaming laptop ever since, but I was afraid that it might not work. Off to the gaming store then! Kudos!
