Checking Windows Updates today (as I am wont to do occasionally for some possibly phobic reason).
I found an important update KB3011780, so........
Like a good MS Soldier, I installed it, rebooted, rechecked for updates and found this KB3000850 as an optional update, 723.9 MB in size.

Looked whirl worthy so I took it for a spin.
No ill effects so far to report. Just passing along some info in case anyone's interested.

That update is Windows 8.1 Update 3. I installed it yesterday on my pc's. Then this morning I think it was WinBeta, stated it was Update 3. Yeah it was WinBeta. Here's the article link. microsoft-has-quietly-released-windows-81-update-3-november-update

I got the following updates yesterday KB3011780 & KB3000850. KB3000850 is Update 3 for 8.1. The KB3011780 is probably needed to install the Update 3 update. Here's Microsoft links for x86 & x64 of both. Just click on details for more information on them. x86 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44985 , http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44976 and x64 for Update 3 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44977 The KB3011780 is for both x86 & x64 (same link for both).

I had a problem with my Modern Apps, post November Roll Up Package install, while I see other people are reporting problems with longer boot times ( both cold boot and restart), while still others are reporting other issues with Browser performance and assorted other issues with Security Suites.
It would seem that everyone has varying experiences with this most recent update package.
