It is just kind of interesting, so I post it just in case there are members using android tablets but can't have enough of the wonderful (?) Windows 8 Start UI.
Found an app called Windows 8 Metro Launcher.
It has the looks of Win 8 Start Screen.
    It is free.
It is still a beta version but I find no ill effects on my Lenovo Ideatab a2109 tablet.
There is also an app that mimicks Win 8 Charm bar. I did not install it because it interferes with the green charm bar (?) already in the Metro Launcher app.

What version of Android are you using on your tablet? Will this work with smart phones?

Thanks for sharing, but I think I've had enough of Windows 8 :p Having it installed on my laptop is enough, but this is a rather interesting option. My mom has a tablet, I think Windows 8 would be less confusing to her that the android OS. We might give this one a try :)

I have a Lenovo Ideatab a2109 9" tablet. The fake Win 8 interface works well with the tablet.
I have a Huawei Ascend Y300 smartphone. I find the Win 8 lookalike tiles too big for the screen. I ended up uninstalling it.
