    I'm excited! I just found this video of a little tour of that build. It looks pretty awesome, although it seems that Microsoft is leaning more towards the touch screen community.

    the graphics of the window are awesome
    i too think that microsoft is making it specially for touch screen tablets and pc's

    I have a feeling that, basically, this is not going to be a successor to Windows 7. I have tried out the latest build and it is very obvious that the very few "extras", so far, could have been put in to Windows 7 as updates or add-ons. As far as preformance - I have read some reports of s better performance in Windows "8", but could not, visually, see any remarkable difference. IMO, this is a direct attack on Ipods and similar competitors. This is a market which is, at the moment, stealing a lot of Microsofts thunder. Time may tell (shortly, we hope!), but I am already regarding this as an alternative OS, although, admittedly, for those who already have, or intend to purchase, touch screens, it will provide that option.
