Windows 8 BSOD

    What does the Windows 8 blue screen of death look like now? Is there a way I can make it crash so that I can see it :p.

    Here we go, I got one initialized BSOD on Windows 8...

    Try running it in a virtual box. It will crash. The analysis is very similar in 8.

    Doesn't quite crash just by running in a virtual box though, you still have to do something haha :) I had to enable virtualization in my BIOS to get it running on VirtualBox, but that's what I use to test it out currently. I've allocted a certain amount of space (vhd) to run it from (around 75GB I think?). To crash it though I used the program Capt.Jack Sparrow had posted, it worked great!

    i dont find the public symbols for win8 in conventional symbol server path:
    can anybody help me to find the path or the debug symbols of win8 drivers somewhere

    The symbols (of course) have to be downloaded separately. Have you? Do you have the newest version of win DB?
