Too bad, I think I started to see some little dotted scratches on the screen.
Well, what about the marker colors? It is softer than pencils right?

Yes it's softer but if it bleeds through and gets on the screen you won't like watching through ink stains.

    I have got an idea.
What about using an external LCD monitor instead to do this tracing work?
    Isn't that a good idea?

But I think that model of Inspiron 15z 5523 doesn't have a connector for an external computer LCD monitor??

It has a hub called "HDMI" isn't that for TV only?

You can do whatever you like, if the laptop or monitor gets damaged you can buy a new one. Or you could print the image and then trace over the printout.

    Hello,
I have bought a screen guard.
    Look at the pictures.
Can this screen guard sticker scratch the screen?

The screen guard should protect it; good idea.

Wow, so this way I can touch the screen and use a pencil on that screen guard over the transparent papers to trace and that way the screen would be safe, right??

Also, I will no longer have to clean the screen when I have a screen guard sticker over it, isn't that right?

    screen would be safe yes.

the screen saver will get smudges/fingerprints so you will need to continue to clean it

    Hello again.
    I figured out something.
Every time I shut down my laptop, before I shut it down, I turn off Wi-Fi first from Windows 8.1 and then shut down.
Now laptop never restarted or hang on after been shut down..

So the issue was in the Wi-Fi?

The issue is likely the sleep function of your network card. In device manager find the wireless card and in power settings do not let it sleep

I have been turning off the sleep function of the wireless in device manager but still restarts and hang on often.

So why it doesn't happen when first turning off Wi-Fi before shutting down?

I don't know. It can be trial and error with different power options/settings. And sometimes you have to wait for a newer driver or BIOS version to fix things.

Damn this is sure stupid!! Yesterday although I have turned off Wifi, Windows restarted instead of shutting down. Now I am confused what the hell is going on.

Even with wifi on or off the driver exists in the system. Any driver issues can cause problems

So the problem might be in the wifi driver right? Or any other drivers not just wifi?

It could be any driver. The hope is if you have DMP files it would point to a specific driver but if it does not, make sure you have all the latest drivers.

    Hello,

I have read on the internet that VLC Player is bad for the Skullcandy speakers of Dell Inspiron 15z 5523.

But my brother uses an app called "DFX Audio Enhancer" How can you advice me of this one?

Is it also bad for my 15z laptop speakers or is it OK??

It makes the sound far clearer than without using the DFX Audio Enhancer.
