Windows 7 or Windows 8 more secure?

    Which of the two is the more secure operating system? I like the look of Windows 8 but the stability of Windows 7. Is Windows 7 more secure, and is it a more stable OS in general? Or is it the other way around?

    Windows 8.1 is definitely more secure than Windows 7.
