Using W8x64Pro, I have a problem installing an legitimate HP printer driver for my HP USB printer. I have at least three HP drivers that should, by all rights install, but none will because W8 always throws an "ACESS DENIED" error message when trying to install one of the drivers. I need a printer.

It would appear I have access problems, but I am not sure which files, folders, or other 'objects' I need to check and/or where those files are to be found. Any Suggestions ???

    thank you

I ran into this recently when attempting to help a friend with a similar problem.
I can't remember how I finally managed to resolve it but I think it was either one of two, or possibly both of these two programs.
One was a Citrix based program it may have been GoToMyPC

The other was a program called Driver Manager

Good luck and if you find something different as a possible solution please post back and let us know.
