USB Gamepad with metro games?

    My gamepads connect to all my PCs and I can use it on all my desktop games, but they don't with any metro games. I'm guessing it's because Microsoft is trying to force Xbox controllers on to windows 8. I don't want to buy Xbox controllers, so is their anyway to get around this? I already use joytokey, but it doesn't work very well for aiming, or menu navigation.

    Have you looked for a driver update for your Gamepad?
    What gamepad are you talking about?
    Have you confirmed that the game supports your gamepad with Windows 8.1?
