Surprised!

    I'm actually a bit surprised that we are not seeing any questions regarding everyone's new notification area icon for GWX.exe (Get Windows 10) today.
    I would have thought that it would have attracted some attention and perhaps a subsequent question or two.
    It appears that it is a persistent product of a scheduled task on all Windows 7 and 8.1 computers.

    Yep, I thought that there would have been some mentions of this - I've seen this notice on all of my systems in the past 24h.

    I'm all set to go with the upgrade on all of the systems, so it may only be a matter of a couple of months before tens of millions of people (or more!) upgrade. I hope the upgrade process is smooth, as I imagine that this notification will prompt a huge proportion of 7/8.1 users to upgrade, when they would have normally waited.
