Well Microsoft is just new to the tablet market. I must say I'm not a fan of tablets, but the Microsoft Surface does attract my attention. I love the Metro UI for touch use, but not for desktop use. The magnet keyboard looks awesome too.

MS was in the tablet market in 2002 and 2003. We still have some Viewsonics with XPtablet. Touch screens. Difficult to use "keyboards" - but that's what tablets are all about - abandon keyboards.

Gee, it's hard to believe that Surface "users" might actually want the product to do something other than a clamshell break-dance routine, or hop up and down on picnic tables, chanting and singing. Gee - who'da thought?!!
