    As I promised~

The following link contains all Mini dumps from April 5th 2014 till May 22nd 2014 ( yesterday) and my most recent Kernal Dump:

May be there is a 'common factor' going here in the dumps

    Link: > http://www.mediafire.com/download/9966o70ub92cpcq/All_Dumps.zip

I ran CCleaner. AND Defraggler(full) last night and overnight ( each respectively)

There is something else that you can try if you feel that you can do it.

    Uninstall the NVidia drivers.
Turn the computer off and remove the NVidia video card and use the onboard Intel GMA X4500 video.

If that doesn't work, have a look in the BIOS to see if you can disable the onboard video. Then put the NVidia card back in.

Your situation is precisely why I try to find the exact problem, rather than say "Just go out and buy another motherboard or video card." I want to be sure before I suggest to anyone that they spend money.

As far as the video card.. I THOUGHT .. it disables automatically .. when I put my Nvidia in .. I'll check the bios first .. and see.. before pulling the Nvidia card

I built this system myself and I got components that would be compatable.. so digging around in the case is not a problem..

But ill check BIOS first . and make sue that the OnBoard Vid IS INFACT disabled

    I Shall Report back.

    OK ..

    I went into BIOS ..

Went to Advanced ,. and then North Bridge settings..

    There was a selection of
    Initiate Graphics Adapter

    With the following settings:
    IGD
    IDG +PEG (Dual)
PCI/IGD < this is what it is set at currently.
    PCI/PEG
    PEG/IDG
PEG/PCI < was set at this.

Setting PCI seemed most logical to me since my card IS a PCI card

There was also a setting for .. what I'm ASUMING was video memory,,

It Was IGD 32MB .. it is now set at disabled..

The other selections were .. if memory serves.
    16MD
    32MB
    64MB

I WILL say booting seems quicker..

If you want pics to clarify the settings .. I can do that as well ..

Just thought I'd put a bit of an update here .

No Blue screens today (YET 'knock on wood')

However what I did do (about 20 minutes ago) was went to my MB Mfg site and got the driver the newest (NON BETA) driver for my Network card.

I restarted in safe mode and uninstalled the driver , and reinstalled the one I downloaded from the Asus site. All in safe mode.

I also went in and applied the settings as they were recommended and I had had mentioned I did earlier in this thread.

Since it seems like the network was the 'common factor' so far.. I figured it wouldn't hurt to do.

We shall see how it goes :)

    Update:

Well .. so far so good.. Since Sunday afternoon ... NO BLUE SCREENS  I even had my system on all day yesterday from about 6 A.M till about 8 or 9 p.m. either doing various different things, everything from Playing Neverwinter WITH a video chat going as well as IE or Chrome to just sitting 'idle'

Still going to wait another day or so before trying to reinstall anything .

When I mentioned in the above post about Network drivers, I mean ones that were a 'package' program for XP/Vista/7 there ARE NOT ANY drivers on the ASUS site for Win 8 for this particular MB .

Even the Beta drivers are for XP/Vista/7.

If, in the next few days , I don't end up with any more crashes.. I will mark this thread as solved.

Thanks again Shintaro for your help.

    Sorry for the late responce.

I have had to change PC's. My HP Laptop Disk has something wrong with it but no diagnostic software can find it. Weird!

I still need to have a look at the crash dump files.

But that was a good idea to try the Windows 7 network drivers.

Let us know how you are going.

    Shintaro~

    Things have been going 'ok'

Since my last post(may 27th) I DID get 4 blue screens..

Dates with amount of Blue screens.

    5/28 1 blue screen.
    5/29 2 blue screens
    5/31 1 blue screen

Since the 5/31 I HAVE NOT gotten any blue screens.

Those blue screens do SOMEWHAT correlate with doing the Nvidia software updates (both drivers and the extra software) but not totally.

System seems stable now .. and I have had it running for hours at a time doing my normal stuff .. such as

Neverwinter gaming.. with oovoo running (voice, vid and text chat ) AND dual monitors going.

That's basicially the 'short version' ..

So far so good .. since the 31st of June

If you would like I can upload those 4 crash dumps for you to take a look at ..

    Just let me know.

    Shintaro~

Sure I can upload them .. that's not a problem..

Did you want BOTH the Mini AND Kernal ?? I can do such in the next day or 2

As far as the drivers .. and software .. for Nividia..

I'm using the following ( according to the GeForce Experience software)

Driver: GeForce 337.88 <<-- most updated version

Nvidia PysiX System Software (according to my data is the most recent): v. 9.13.1220

GeForce Experience: Version 2.0.1.0 ( there IS an update available to 2.1 but I'm GOING TO WAIT ON THAT... till things settle down for me, just started a new job)

    Yea, zip them up please.

Hopefully it was just the LAN driver causing all the problems. But you are correct, it is best to wait until things settle down.
Games in particular can be a bit sensitive to driver versions.

    Shintaro~

Link to the to the mini dumps and kernel... http://www.mediafire.com/download/sbpkcoeh762dskz/New_dmp_and_kernal.zip

I just noticed as well.. there was (using blue screen view) that there was a 'crash' today .. .(060414-18984-01.dmp for reference) ..

I didn't see any blue screen or other type of system 'lock up' at all.

I was actively actively using my system at that particular time as per my usual activity.

Yep that kind of crash happens with the new video drivers. You might think about going back a version to get stability.

    Shintaro~

As far as stability... other than the 'non blue screen or lock up' I mentioned.. things seem good..

I did do some looking around on the net to see what would have caused the 'non blue screen or lock up ' (the error dated 6/4/2014)

According to Blue Screen View one of the issues was 'ndis.sys' and that still points to the NIC drivers :(

The l1e51x64.sys aspect of the error .. that as well seems to point to the NIC card :(

SOOO.. everything seems to be pointing to the NIC :( not really what I wanted to find out but .. ahh well ..)

Looks like I MIGHT be looking at getting another MB ( if I do this I would more than likely have to get a new processor and memory ) ... OR MAYBE a dedicated NIC which I could do as well(which would be cheaper) ?? your thoughts ??

Since things seem to be pointing at the Onboard NIC and by reading the release notes for the BIOS for my MB it doesn't seem to have anything to do with NIC issues.

So I just had a look at the last crash dump file, the one with l1e51x64.sys
Can you please have a look in Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network Connections
Ethernet -> Properties -> Configure -> Advanced Tab.
for any power setting and turn them OFF.
Stuff like "Energy Efficient", "Green Ethernet".....
Let us know how it goes.

Please don't update anything for at least a week

It is always the easy way out to buy another motherboard. You might find that once you get your system stable, it would be best NOT to update any hardware drivers.

It looks like the Ethernet (miniport) driver was trying to set some type of power savings on the Ethernet card (ShutdownMiniport) and when it has tried to come out of it couldn't get the correct location of its data in memory (Page Fault).
