Just curious. How do they define loyal Skydrive users? Someone who doesn't use Dropbox?

I think they define that as anyone who has been with them for over [Insert time period here]. They have no way of knowing whether or not you use Dropbox.

Loyal users are those with an account at the time of the update...

Yes, I just found that out. So long as you have a Skydrive account before they announced the free upgrade, you are considered to be a loyal Skydrive user and is entitled to the free upgrade. I have two Skydrive accounts and I have upgraded both. I wish I had made more Skydrive accounts before.

According to them, loyal customer is the one who is with them from periods (xyz) whether they used it or not. I think, they should given the opportunity to all new and old subscribers with the same storage space. Offering more storage space may help to get more subscribers, if i am right? Although, i am a user of dropbbox. But if i get 25GB from SkyDrive, then i surely going to keep it as a backup option!
