    Hi,
I am trying to run 16 bit software on 64 bit Windows 8.1.

I searched Google on how to do so and got results suggesting that I should install Oracle VM VirtualBox with Windows XP virtual hard drive. So I installed Oracle VM VirtualBox and followed the instructions from the page: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/forget-end-life-woes-windows-8-xp-mode/

After this I created a shared folder so that Windows XP can access the folder https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=20713

But running 16 bit software on Windows XP still gives error "16 bits screen mode required".

    Please help.

I use DOSBox on Windows 8 to run a small Windows 3.1 installation, and then run my 16-bit program. It's Jezzball from the Best of Entertainment Pack. I just wish that there was a 32-bit issue of the small program.
