I installed it earlier today, when the Microsoft link for it was working. On my desktop and notebook, both seem slower now, especially at shutdowns. On my desktop with a Samsung 840 Pro ssd, after restarting my pc and then clicking on shutdown, it now takes 25-30 seconds to shutdown. Before it was 7-10 seconds, tops. The few changes are nice, but not mind blowing or even necessary, if you already have a start menu addon like Classic Shell, Start8, etc.

Here's proof that I actually have the update installed.

You might have an issue on hand.......

    excerpt:
PCBeta suggests that build 17031 is not RTM, which means that those who rushed to install it might need to reinstall their operating systems once again once the full build becomes available, as it’s not yet clear whether the new and final version could be delivered via Windows Update to these computers.
