I'm having the same problem except when I follow these instructions I get to "Check Now" and when I click it nothing happens. I got the error message to "restart to repair drive errors" right after I tried to upgrade to windows 8.1 but it failed and reverted back to 8. Also its like I have no Administrator permissions... I'm the only one on this comp and I AM the admin. Please help?
