In each "sub forum or category" we see this.......

    Questions :
    1. How or who decides which replies are under "Discussions" category, and which are not?
    2. Why is there such a differentiation?
    3. In fact, in my personal opinion, "Discussions" should be confined to one single sub-forum.
The rest of the sub-forums should be dedicated exclusively to helping people with computer problems. People without a solution to the OP's problem should exercise professional courtesy and stay out.

    My 2 cents.

It's just a count of the threads/posts within a forum: discussion = threads and messages = posts :)

Threads / Posts may be more familiar terms, but this forum uses a different naming convention.
