Don't know if this is the right category to post this in. I have been using a local account all along for Windows 8. But I noticed there are limitations as far as apps in store. My question is: If I switch to a MS account, what does Microsoft do with my information? For instance it seems that Google with Android watches every move and uses what I do for their own marketing purposes. How is it with Microsoft? Thanks for your help.

You can be pretty sure that Microsoft may use your information the same way, but to be sure just check out the privacy policy on their site.
