Something keeps changing my proxy settings.
Every time I change it to "Automatically detect settings", something is changing it to "Use a proxy server for your LAN..."

I have ran several virus and adware scanners and found nothing.

    Any help appreciated.

Well 127.0.0.1 is the loop back address, meaning that it is pointing to itself.

You might have a plugin installed or some anti-virus will do that. If you have an AV that boasts Internet protection it might be that.

It's a Windows 8 machine so be sure to check how you have it configured in Windows 8.
Use the Charms Bar, Settings, Change PC Settings, Network, Proxy.
Make sure everything is off and SAVE

Also there are different types of firewall that do packet inspection that will do that.
