Is the antivirus software working or not?

    I keep getting a notice from the action center that my antivirus software and firewall are turned off.
    I try to turn them on through the action center and nothing happens.

    Norton tells me its on and working fine.

    It's been years since I used Norton, but at least back then the Action Center couldn't detect Norton.
