I was not sure if this was an appropriate entry in this section. I know it is not directly related to Windows 8 but, like it or not, IE10 is the default. There is a surprising lack of interest on the web, regarding this feature.
I have installed Firefox, as a standby, but am using IE10 (non immersive) as much as possible to see if it has any gross failings. So far, so good.
Has anyone had any bad experiences with it?

How is it, in comparison to IE9? I know I'll be installing Chrome right away.

I'm having problem typing replies in tabletpcreview forums on win8. The keyboard appears & disappear when you start typing.

Bladerunner: It's about the same as IE9, except a little bit faster. davehc: Firefox 13 when Mozilla releases it, supposably has alot of speed tweaks added to it according to a Mozilla blog post..

Is there IE 11 out yet? And if there is, how does it compare to with Chrome?

IE will always be the "simple users" browser. Chrome and Firefox will always be the "smart user" browser.

I really dislike IE10, it seems to be trying to hard on looks and not on speed and safety. Especially in the full screen version (probably the wrong name) on the start screen.

I hate IE10 as it's very slow and since IE6 was here, it has given me a bad experience ever since.
