The easiest way, as far as I know, to install Win 8 from USB flash drive is to use the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool. This tool is easy to use and it works, as I just used it to install Win 8 32 Bit on my laptop. You can download this tool from: http://download.cnet.com/Windows-7-USB-DVD-Download-Tool/3000-18513_4-10972600.html.

As for Win 8 installation is no difference than installing Win 7, though it takes less time to install...14 minutes from setup to fully installed on my laptop using a clean hard drive. Latest build is 8102. You can download Win 8 from here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/br229516

Note that if you don’t have a USB or DVD drive you can still install Win 8 from a “virtual DVD” in a few easy steps. Just download and install the free MagicDisc application. MagicDisc “is very helpful utility designed for creating and managing virtual CD drives and CD/DVD discs”. I have used it many times before, you can create as many virtual DVDs as you like and it definitely works. http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm
