Everytime I shutdown or restart my PC, it entes into a bootloop and then shows me "advanced options" and I have to refresh it. I installed Ubuntu to see if it krrp doing that but no, just Win8 :( I've not tried Windows 7 since the problem starts but I want Windows 8, not Windows 7.

Is this a hardware problem? :( Help.

And of course you might want to make sure that you do not have another bootable device (USB thumb drive or other) plugged into your computer which is associated with the number one option in your boot device priority in the BIOS.

I know it sounds kinda dumb but it can happen.

Try creating a Full Shutdown shortcut (Article HERE) and shut it down that way. See what happens. My HP Laptop did that a lot. It was a software issue. Sorry I can't remember what software it was causing the problem.

Let us know how you go.
