I get to have fun today pulling out my old XFX Radeon HD 5770 1.0 GB. and installing my new
MSI Gaming N760 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 760 2GB when it arrive's late this afternoon. I still have to decide on if I'm going to overclock it further in MSI Afterburner. Can't wait until next month when I upgrade my OCZ Vertex 3 120 GB. Max IOPs ssd to a Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB. ssd, so I can reinstall all my games. Then install Batman Arkham Origins next month when it comes out. That one's free with the new video card.

I'm either gonna put it in a 2nd desktop and sell it or put it in a laptop that I'm going to get in December.

Not yet. I can only fit 1 game on my 120 GB. Vertex 3. I'll have to wait until next month, when I get the Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB. Then the fun begins. Then after Windows 8.1 becomes available, my free Batman Arkham Origins get's released a few days later. I've already got it setup on my Steam account.

Good luck! I bet it will be so much better once you have it installed! Having so much free memory is always a relief! I need to do the same for my ASUS, because I've noticed it's been lagging after a lot of my recent downloads. Gotta wait til I get some extra cash though, then I'll be right on it! Hope you have fun installing and I hope the end results are great!

Yeah, once I get the bigger ssd, the games get reinstalled. Then the 16 gbs. of ddr3 1600 ram eventually get's replaced with ddr3 2133 or 2400 ram. Maybe in November. I'm slowly overclocking the video card in MSI Afterburner. I've found the highest the Core Clock can go on it. The Memory Clock is at +300 now and it still has room to go. I got tired of messing with it yesterday. Maybe later, I'll find out the top end for it.

Just ran 3DMark Advanced with video card overclocked. Ice Storm 107,172, Cloud Gate 17,844 and Fire Strike 5,909. All were run on Extreme Settings.

Nice upgrades. The graphics will be a huge boost, but the SSD won't be much faster in real world apps, but obviously the 256GB will be awesome for size.

I went from a 60GB Vertex 2E to a 128GB Samsung 830. 250mbps (SATA 2) to 550mbps (SATA 3), yet in the real world, loading Windows and games I didn't notice a difference at all!

Yeah, I'm only getting it for more space, so I can have all my game's on it.
