How to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8?

    I keep XP on one comp for nostalgic purposes of course. I used to do the same thing with Windows 2000 but not anymore. Call me weird I guess.:D

    I have seen some companies still using XP because they are using some custom-written software which only runs on XP. So there can be many reasons why people still use XP. I think in some cases it's a matter of why change when it's still working well.

    A few companies still use DOS for their main P.O.S. terminals. Fry's Electronics in the US is one that does.

    I worked for them for four years and all of us "associates" used to laugh about how hi-tech those P.O.S. terminals were.
    BTW, for us the term P.O.S. did not mean "Point Of Sale" either. LOL! :rolleyes:
