Because of the lack of a start menu (which I'm ok with) I've pinned a lot of common folders to the Windows Explorer jumplist, such as Documents, Pictures, Music, Downloads, and Computer.

The problem is the default jumplist capacity is pretty small, so after a lot of pinning you see little or no recent folders in your list. Here's how to increase the capacity:

    1. Right-click on the taskbar, select Properties
    2. Click the Jump Lists tab
    3. Increase the capacity via the option at the top (I set it to 15).
    4. Voila!

Hope this helps somebody, it really helped me :)

That's cool. I knew how to extend the number of jump list items, but hadn't thought of pinning Windows Explorer locations - that works really well for me, because I am always moving files around and stuff.

Thanks guys! Glad you liked the guide :) I actually didn't think it was that good of a tip, I thought most people knew how to do this to be honest.
