How to Disable "Auto Adjustment in Progress" on start up?

    i did mistakenly factory reset on monitor ...The screen goes blank at start up and then it message appears auto adjust in progress, which keeps flashing on the screen as it is now. How do I stop it???
    My Monitor Is COMPAQ..

    have you tried manually adjusting (using the buttons on the monitor)
    contrast, brightness, horizontal and vertial size and positioning
    and then saving those settings?
    I assume that since it has been a while since any Compaq branded products have been sold that it is an older device. It is a possibility that some buttons might be stuck or the monitor may be starting to fail.

    i tried manually...but i cant stop that messege appearing.. :(
