    Hi,

I know that in past windows versions, I was able to use a program called exctrlst.exe which allowed me to disable performance counters, which freed up a bit of system resources. I've tried googling this for Windows 8 but nothing came up. Does anyone know of a way to do this in Windows 8? Thanks in advance for any insight that can be provided!
