I have tried couple of things but the game always crash after a while. It's completely random. Sometimes during the mission briefing, sometimes on loading screen and sometimes while playing. The worse part is that after it freezes I can't get out of the game and the only thing I can do is press the reset button and reset my computer. I had the same issue on windows 7 64-bit.

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode? To launch the game just right click on the .exe icon, select "compatibility mode' and you should be good to go. I haven't had a problem with it in either Windows 7 or 8.

That was the first thing I tried. It didn't help and the game was still crashing.
