Wonder if it can be improved.
Can the text I circled in red be in darker colour?
It is hard to read and I had answered a thread that was a year old. good thing the member is still around and answered back.

This seems to be a trend among many websites using really pale colors for different text areas within the site, but aggravated by one's screen bright and contrast.

It's hard for me to read too, but the only workaround that I have found is zooming the text to make it visible. Even in Facebook you can see this nuisance, particularly in the private message area.

As said before, is probably a "trendy" CSS design matter.

Sorry, I've only just seen your post on this.

The difficulty with changing that font colour is that making it darker may make it look like part of the post text. Perhaps I could try some blue colours, but it's quite standard to have time/date text to be a dark grey colour now - so I'm hesitant to change it.

i can see how others would have an issue wih it, but i personally dont have an issue with it.

Maybe you can keep it the same color but bold it though...

I don't have 100% vision, but it is perfectly readable for me. I do actually like it in it's unobtrusive state.

I have not made myself clear.
I was referring to the date under the TITLE.

You folks really think the date is easy to read ? See my screenshot....

Ah. I see. Well, maybe on my computers, but if I put the mouse over the date, it highlites it and brings it up in bold red. So, again, not something I have seriously considered. But, perhaps it could be improved?

Neither Win 7 nor my Win 8.1 Pro do that.
Cursor over the Title will bring the title text in red, but cursor over the Date will not turn date text to red.

    Very strange and very incomprehensible.
My Win 8.1 Pro works slightly differently. Two Win 8.1, but do not work the same way.
I have to "open" the thread first > rest the cursor over the Date > then date text will turn to red, not before.

This thread has gone long enough and it is really inconsequential.
    Time to forget about it.
