I heard in the news the other day that some companies and governments refuse to use Windows 8 due to security concerns. How secure do you think Win 8 is? I would have thought it would be pretty secure considering it's built from Win 7, but like any new software there are always bugs waiting to be exploited.

There could be other reasons as well, such as not wanting to upgrade to an OS that is really designed to use with touchscreens and the companies and government agencies not wanting to shell out the money for the additional equipment.

Really an OS is only as secure is the security software you have installed on your systems/network. "What one man may build up, another may tear asunder."
