Can we upgrade from Windows 8 beta to final?

    It's probably a silly question, but is it possible to upgrade straight from the beta to the final versions once it is released? I'm sure lots of people would buy an instant upgrade to final from the beta if it was possible to do this.

    The Windows Update System could handle this?

    I don't know if you'll be able to do this out of the box (I'd guess not, but we'll see soon enough), but you may be able to work around it and do a direct upgrade (as was possible for Windows 8).

    Either way, I'd still recommend doing a fresh install for Windows 8, unless you've got a good reason not to.
