Boot conf.data missing.

    KWhen I set c drive (the system drive) as an active partition from disk manager option after restarting the screen appears as boot manager data is missing or error.see the snapshot.please help me outta problem.

    What snap shot? Besides.....the C drive is already active by default. So why are you trying to tell it to be active when it's already active?

    Actuall
    Actually I don't know what is the need of " set partition active" from disk manager section.I thought it makes pc faster.That's why I did so.After doing that I shut it down.Then a few times back I switched on pc & a boot manager appeared.It says now to repair or to reinstall os.Is there any solution except repairing or reinstalling?Can u tell me how to inactive the active partition & the function of it?
