Please can somebody help, I think I have deleted the Bluetooth software on my Laptop (Compaq CQ45), it disappeared a while back and I can't find any way to get it back. Is there any way I can install it again? I've been through so many settings

I suspect that if you go to your computer manufacturer's website......
Plug in the specifics regarding your model number ("CQ45" might not be enough) then select your specific operating system you should be able to find the resource that will allow you to reinstall the software and associated driver(s) that support your device. That is of course if it is an embedded device.
If it is some type of third party Blue Tooth USB Dongle then you'll need to get the software and drivers from the device manufacturer's website.
