Hello everyone! I would like to get some questions answered regarding to battery life. You see, I bought a new laptop recently, it's a Toshiba Satellite. My old laptop is still working, but the battery is dead. I didn't treat the battery properly (obviously), but this time I really want to do things differently and that's why I am here.

First, should I take out the battery when I am at home and can use the laptop by connecting it to a power source? Is that actually good for the laptop? Or should I use the laptop with the battery inside from time to time? Right now I am using the laptop without the battery, I stored the battery somewhere safe.

    Thanks in advance!
