AMD HD 48XX driver

    Has anyone have an idea as to if and when AMD is going to release a driver for the HD 48XX series GPU's. Every time I boot to 8 my GPU fans just sits idle and temps really get up there. I'm just afraid of burning up my GPU playing around with 8.

    Jim I've just been checking the compatibility list and the 4870 shouldn't be a problem.. I'm wondering if your chipset has something to do with this as you don't have the drivers for that either????
