    Hello
I will be using an all-in-one PC that will run on windows 8 in a public place. This pc will have a software program running on it that should only allow the user to run through the steps of the program. There will be no mouse or keyboard attached.

Can the charm bar and the hot corners be disabled in Windows 8? IF i disable them, will a user be able to access the desktop any other way?

It is important that a user should not be able to move away from this application for various reasons.

I would suggest that you look at Group policies.
From the Start type in gpedit.msc
Or from the Metro interface "Edit group policy", with out the quotes.

Charms can be disabled via the registry. HERE is a article.Menu

    Hope this helps.
