In an attempt to move users away from XP, Microsoft are offering $100 off certain PCs from the Microsoft Store. May be worth a look if you're jumping ship when XP support ends in April:

Well, I'd like to say Microsoft is doing this out of compassion, but I'd be lying if I did, lol. They really want people to stop using Windows XP, and using the fact they'll stop offering support as a very bad and greedy marketing move. Seriously... this kind of move makes them look even more greedy to me! A lot people out there can't afford a new machine... plus who'd get a new machine just because the OS no longer recieves support? I wouldn't... I'd probably switch to Linux.
