I can't seem to find a driver for my AMD HD Radeon 4800 series GPU. That's the only snafu I've found so far. Could really use some in locating one.
I think the Windows 7 drivers should work ok for the most part, although you may be missing some CCC features. I looked on the AMD site for drivers for my graphics card and there was a specific dropdown option for Windows 8 drivers, but it was emtpy so far. Perhaps they will add ones in the near future.
I did some more searching for you and found this: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalystDriverWin8CPreleasenotes.aspx 4800 series support hasn't yet been added to the Windows 8 beta drivers.
This was posted over at Guru 3D and can be found in the thread here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=359369 (16th post in the thread) The guy Asder has modded the latest driver to allow for 4 series cards amongst others. The actual link for the driver is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?55gi84cnbgb6alt
Have you tried to use AMD's automatic driver detection? If the computer was made by HP or other popular manufacturers, and the video card was pre-installed into your computer before being sold, you should be able to find drivers for the video card and many other things on their main website if you search the product number.
