I'm running Windows 8 in VirtualBox (latest version) and it works fine in most respects, however I'm having a real headache with the App store icon on the start page. When I click the App Store icon, the screen turns blue and shows an icon of a bag. It stays like this for around 5-10 seconds and then just goes straight back to the start page. No app store appears! Am I supposed to be able to access it and does anyone else have a solution?
Hi efraz, Do all of the other Metro apps work ok? I'm guessing you've got an internet connection up running with VirtualBox? I've done some googling on this problem as I've not heard of this before, but I've not been able to find anything other than a handful of other unresolved reports.
Everything else looks ok, it's just the App Store. I'm going to do a clean install and see what happens... wish me luck!
